Dan Demba is a Partner with Empire Search Partners. Dan works closely with the senior management of top law firms and boutiques to identify potential synergistic growth areas and attract accretive practices. Dan also provides a consultative approach to high performing groups, partners, associates, and in-house counsel to identify the best platform for their practices.
Having spent the past decade and a half cultivating relationships with key decision makers in the legal market, Dan is able to help identify the right practices for his clients and understand why attorneys will be attractive to a given platform and how to best effectuate the desired strategic growth.
Before becoming a legal recruiter in 2008, Dan practiced domestically as a litigator and internationally as a corporate attorney. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan worked in sales, training, and marketing.
Dan earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was an Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He earned his B.S.B.A. from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. His dual undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Human Resource Management give him a keen understanding of the human resources function of law firms and corporations.
